From Monday 30 June until Tuesday 1 July 2014 the Court will hear the appeal of R (Barclay & Anor) v SSJ and Lord Chancellor & Ors on issues including whether the Reform (Sark) (Amendment) No.2 Law 2010 is compatible with Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights. This will be heard in court 2 from 11am on Monday and from 10.30am on Tuesday.

There are no sittings in the Supreme Court on Wednesday 2 – Friday 4 July 2014.

The Judicial Committee of the Privy Council will also hand down judgment in Pfizer Limited v Medimpex Jamaica Limited & Anor on the validity of a Jamaican patent on Wednesday. On Thursday 3 July 2014 is the Trinidad and Tobagan appeal of Singh v The Public Service Commission on the issue of criterion for selections for acting appointment to the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector I.
