This morning the UKSC Blog hears the sad news that Lord Rodger of Earlsferry passed away on 26 June 2011. He died aged 66 after a short illness.
Lord Rodger was appointed a Lord of Appeal in Ordinary in 2001, and became one of two Scottish Supreme Court Justices when the Supreme Court was established in 2009.
The UKSC Blog profiled Lord Rodger in 2010.
