On Monday 23 November 2015 the Supreme Court will hear the appeal of R (Nouazli) v Secretary of State for the Home Department regarding whether the power under the Immigration (European Economic Area) Regulations 2006, reg 24(1), to detain prior to a deportation decision discriminates against EEA nationals and their family members without lawful justification. It will be heard in Court 2 from 11am and will continue on Tuesday at 10.30am.
On Wednesday 25 November it will hand down judgment in Keyu & Ors v Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs & Anor regarding whether there is a legal duty to issue a public inquiry into the killing on 11-12 December 1948 of 24 unarmed civilians by a patrol of Scots Guards in the village of Batang Kali, Malaya. This will be handed down in Court 2 from 9.45am.
On Wednesday 25 November the Privy Council will hear the appeal of In the matter of Baronetcy of Pringle of Stichill concerning which of the applicant or the respondent is the legitimate successor to the Baronetcy of Stichill. This will be heard in Court 3 from 10.30am and will continue on Thursday.
