On Tuesday 7 June 2016 the Supreme Court will hear the appeal of Amoena (UK) Ltd v Commissioners for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs regarding whether mastectomy bras can be classified as a part or accessory to a breast form, or an orthopaedic appliance in order to be free from customs duty under the EU’s Combined Nomenclature of customs classifications. This will be heard in Court 2 from 10.30am.

On Wednesday 8 June it will hear the appeal of Bailey & Anor v Angove’s PTY Ltd concerning whether the liquidators of D&D Wines International Ltd still had authority to collect money owed to the appellant after the notice of the termination of their contract and whether ny money it collected would in fact be held on trust for the appellant. This will be heard in Court 1 from 10.15am.

On Wednesday 8 June 2016 the Privy Council will hear the appeal of Cassell & Anor v The Queen (Montserrat) concerning whether the Court of Appeal had been wrong to dismiss the appeal and not give direction for a re-trial. This will be heard in Court 3 from 10.30am. On Thursday 9 June it will hear the compliance cost issues in the cases of Price Waterhouse Coopers v Saad Investments Company Ltd & Anor (Bermuda) and Singularis Holdings Ltd v Price Waterhouse Coopers (Bermuda). This will be heard in Court 3 from 10.30am.
