Hearings in the Supreme Court are now shown live on the Court’s website.

From Monday 19 to Thursday 22 July, the Supreme Court will hear “Maduro Board” of the Central Bank of Venezuela v “Guaidó Board” of the Central Bank of Venezuela. This appeal will consider whether the UK Government has recognised Interim President Guaidó as Head of State of Venezuela and, if so, whether any challenge to the validity of Mr Guaidó’s appointments to the Board of the Central Bank of Venezuela is justiciable in an English court.

On Friday 23 July, the Supreme Court will hand down judgment in three cases. First, Test Claimants in the Franked Investment Income Group Litigation & Others v Commissioners of Inland Revenue (1) and (2). Second, Harcus Sinclair LLP v Your Lawyers Ltd. Third, Royal Mail Group Ltd v Efobi.
