The issues relating to control orders – about to be the subject of a judgment from the House of Lords – were discussed on the “Today” programme by Lord Carlisle and UKSC Blogger Matthew Ryder. This case has also attracted wider media comment.

The important forthcoming “control order” judgment (Home Secretary a v AF) is due later today.  The some of the issues were discussed on the BBC Radio 4’s “Today” programme this morning by the Government’s “Independent Terrorism  Reviewer” former Liberal Democrat MP Lord Carlisle of Berrihew QC and our own Matthew Ryder.  The item also features a rare interview with someone who is subject to a control order.  Hear the discussion again here.

The forthcoming judgment has also been the subject of wider media comment, see for example here.
