The House of Lords will be hearing the appeals in the In re Sigma Finance Corporation cases and giving judgment in three cases which were heard last term.
Next week’s House of Lord business consists of a two day hearing of the three joined appeals In re Sigma Finance Corporation (in Administrative Receivership) and In re the Insolvency Act 1986
In addition, judgment is being given in three cases:
Birmingham City Council (Appellants) v Ali (FC) and Others (FC) (Respondents); Moran (Appellant) v Manchester City Council (Respondents) [2008] EWCA Civ 1228 and [2008] EWCA Civ 378.
SCA Packaging Limited (Appellants) v Boyle (Respondent) (Northern Ireland) [2008] NICA 48
Chartbrook Limited (Respondents) v Persimmon Homes Limited and others (Appellants) and another (Respondent) [2008] EWCA Civ 183.
