On Wednesday 3 August, the Supreme Court will hand down judgment in Moreno v The Motor Insurers’ Bureau at 10.30am. The panel will be Lord Mance, Lord Clarke, Lord Sumption, Lord Toulson and Lord Hodge. It will decide whether the Motor Insurers’ Bureau’s liability should be determined in accordance with the law of England and Wales, or the law of the relevant EU member state, where the claimant was injured by an uninsured driver in another EU member state.
