On Tuesday 21 June 2016 the Supreme Court will hear an appeal in Secretary of State for the Home Department v FV (Italy), on whether the respondent’s deportation was necessary based on an “imperative ground of public security”. This will be heard in Court 1 from 10.30am.

On Wednesday 22 June, five judgments will be handed down:

Brown & Anor, the Joint Administrators of Loanwell Ltd v Stonegale Ltd (Scotland) (and other cases). The panel will be Lords Neuberger, Sumption, Reed, Carnwath, and Hodge.

On Thursday 21 June it will hear Hastings Borough Council v Manolete Partners plc to resolve the meaning of “in default” in the Buildings Act 1984, s 106 in the context of an exercise of a local authority’s power under s 78 of that Act. This will be heard in Court 1 from 10.30am.
