Just when we were getting into the swing of it, the Court has announced that it is closing on Thursday and Friday of this week.  This is to facilitate the official opening of the Court on Friday by the Queen.  Accordingly, on these days, filing of hard copy documents can be achieved only by first class post of document exchange

Readers are reminded that Rule 7(3) of the Court’s Rules provides that unless consent of the Registrar is obtained, documents filed at the Court must be provided in hard copy and electronic form.  Practice Direction 14 sets out the details of electronic filing (in essence, documents should be provided in pdf format and to registry@supremecourt.gsi.gov.uk if 10Mb or less and on a memory stick of over this limit).
