The UKSC’s Twitter feed (@UKSupremeCourt) has announced that:
“Supreme Court has refused Dept for Energy and Climate Change permission to appeal Court of Appeal’s judgment re solar panel feed in tariffs”
Back in February, the DECC issued a statement that they would appeal the Court of Appeal’s decision.
The UKSC refused permission, stating that the Government’s appeal “does not raise an arguable point of law of general public importance which ought to be considered by the Supreme Court at this time”.
